The Israeli military says the bodies of four more deceased hostages have been returned from Gaza. Israel has imposed new restrictions on aid entering the besieged Gaza Strip and will reportedly not open the Rafah crossing, between Egypt and Gaza, as planned until Hamas return more of the dead.
US President Donald Trump says that Argentina's president, Javier Milei, has his 'complete and total endorsement' ahead of crucial mid-term congressional elections in the country. The US has announced a twenty billion dollar plan to help calm Argentina's currency crisis but President Trump said the continued support depended on the success of Javier Milei’s coalition in the midterm race.
Local media in Sudan are reporting that food supplies in El Fasher are running out after the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces completed an earthwork surrounding the besieged city. Food kitchens halted the distribution of meals at the weekend and markets in the capital of North Darfur have little to sell.
