Trump says Gaza ceasefire still in place

Dozens of Palestinians and two Israeli soldiers were killed as both sides, Israel and Hamas, blamed the other for violating the ceasefire.

The US says it believes Hamas is acting in good faith as it searches for the remains of the sixteen Israeli hostages yet to be handed over. Speaking to the American television station, CBS, Jared Kushner who helped Israel and the Palestinian group reach a ceasefire said from what they had observed, Hamas was looking to honour the agreement.
