Egypt's Grand Museum opens, displaying Tutankhamun's tomb in full

The museum is described as the world's largest archaeological museum, packed with some 100,000 artefacts.

Egypt has officially opened the Grand Egyptian Museum with a lavish inauguration, which it intends as a cultural highlight of the modern age.
