Global aid cuts risk 14 million deaths

Research has found that US aid cuts could cause over 14 million additional deaths by 2030.

President Donald Trump's move to cut most of the US funding towards foreign humanitarian aid could cause more than 14 million additional deaths by 2030, according to research published in The Lancet medical journal. A third of those at risk of premature deaths were children, researchers projected. We take a walk around the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s many language services at the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ HQ in London to hear how these aid cuts are already affecting countries globally.

We speak to three undocumented migrants in the US about the rising amounts of fear in their communities since President Trump's crackdown on immigration.

And we hear from our political correspondent about the sharp rise in the number of migrants crossing the Channel from France to Britain in small boats.
