Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas addresses the UN

The leader made his address via videolink, after being denied a visa to enter the US

The Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, has addressed the United Nations by video-link from Ramallah, after the Trump administration denied him a visa in protest at his promotion of Palestinian statehood. We analyse his speech with our Chief International correspondent and our ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Arabic reporter in New York.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is in Washington today, where he will be hosted by President Donald Trump at the White House. We hear from three Turkish citizens as to what the meeting could mean for them.
