As of today, no major US news network or publication will have a permanent presence at the Pentagon for the first time in decades. Leading news outlets have rejected a new Pentagon policy that bars journalists from the building unless they only report information that has been officially authorised by the Department of Defense. We speak to two Pentagon reporters.
Palestinians in Gaza are stockpiling food as prices surge, amid growing concern that the ceasefire may not hold. Israeli officials have said the main crossing in Rafah in the south is not due to be opened for aid convoys today, although trucks are coming in through other points. The UN humanitarian chief says Israel must uphold the ceasefire agreement and open more crossings for vital aid. We speak to our international editor about this week's developments.
