Hurricane Melissa: At least 20 dead in Haiti

The hurricane has also caused widespread power outages and flooding in Jamaica.

At least 20 people have died in Haiti in flooding caused by Hurricane Melissa. The hurricane made landfall on Tuesday as a category five storm in Jamaica, where people remain stuck on roofs and without power. We speak to people in in Jamaica.

At least 132 people were killed during a deadly police raid in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday, the state public defender's office said. We speak to our correspondent there.
