Kenyan singer songwriter Nviiri the Storyteller had his first big hit back in 2019 with Pombe Cigara. In English that means alcohol and cigarettes, but the song is actually about being addicted to love.

He鈥檚 signed to the record label of Kenyan super group Sauti Sol, and he is credited with having contributed to their come back hit Melanin. If you like Sauti Sol鈥檚 sound, you will love Nviiri, who also happens to be blessed with an amazing singing voice.

He鈥檚 just dropped a second album, Inside Out, which, as he tells DJ Edu, includes a collaboration with Nigerian afrobeats star and former TIA guest, Chike.
