New Zealand citizens - particularly young professionals and graduates - are leaving the country in record numbers with many not intending to come back. Most are heading to Australia, lured by better job opportunities and higher wages. However, there was overall a net migration gain, with migrant arrivals from India the largest group, followed by the Philippines and China. What will this 'brain drain' and rapidly changing demographics mean for the country's future?
