Demand for meat is projected to more than double by 2050. This is bad news for the climate - agriculture currently accounts for a quarter of all greenhouse gas emissions, largely due to the methane that’s released by cattle. With no easy way to significantly reduce this, could lab-grown meat be a green solution?
