Magnetophone

²Ñ²¹²µ²Ôé³Ù´Ç±è³ó´Ç²Ô±ð

Matt Huish Saunders and John Hanson of ²Ñ²¹²µ²Ôé³Ù´Ç±è³ó´Ç²Ô±ð are old mates from Birmingham.

Childhood antics included underwater Stylophone playing, a ritual they named 'Alpha Beti Bon-Tempi Underwater Electro-Hydro Sound-Fusion'.

Matt and John's first vinyl appearance, You Should Write Music, was on the Earworm label.

They then signed to 4AD and recorded a Peel session in spring 2000.

²Ñ²¹²µ²Ôé³Ù´Ç±è³ó´Ç²Ô±ð made a welcome return on November 8th with their latest release The Man Who Ate The Man.

Collaborations on the album include Breeders sisters Kim and Kelley Deal, PG Six, HMS Ginafore and King Creosote.

²Ñ²¹²µ²Ôé³Ù´Ç±è³ó´Ç²Ô±ð's next gig is Friday November 18th at The Luminaire in Kilburn London.
