cried when she first heard it. “When she told me that, it was kind of an omen for me that it was going to be a hit,” Ronan reported. It has indeed been a real money-spinner for Keating as appeared on his 4.4 million-selling solo album and also appeared on the soundtrack the film. The song stayed in the charts for 15 weeks, re-entering 3 months later then once again that January.
Itwas written by Music Row writers Paul Overstreet and Don Schlitz originally for late country singer Keith Whitley. Alison Krausscovered it for a Whitley tribute albumin 1994.
