Etre et Avoir or To Be and To Have is wonderful low-key film which became a phenomenon in France, finding a warm magic in the miracle of watching children learn and grow. The Right Honourable Estelle Morris, Minister of State for Culture, Media and Sport, reviews this Nicholas Philibert documentary set in the heart of a rural primary school.

Mark Lawson with music critic Neil McCormick discussing the current state of Irish Music. Neil cites Damein Rice, Gemma Hayes and The Thrills as examples, and asks whether any of these new groups are of the same calibre of Irish talent as U2, Van Morrison & Sinead O'Connor.
