WEDNESDAY 31 DECEMBER
Presented by Mark Lawson
SIR BOB GELDOF
Mark Lawson talks in an extended interview to the musician and campaigner Sir Bob Geldof.
A quarter of a century ago he came to fame as the front man of the Dublin rock group The Boomtown Rats, but he's perhaps best known for his brainchild Live Aid, the global charity appeal that raised millions of pounds in famine relief for Ethiopia in 1985.
In conversation with Mark Lawson, Bob Geldof looks back at his musical career and talks revealingly about the impact of public exposure on his private life.
