HIS DARK MATERIALS
Nicholas Hytner's two-part production of His Dark Materials opens at the National Theatre in London today. Based on the novels by Philip Pullman, and adapted for the stage by Nicholas Wright, His Dark Materials is reviewed by critic and writer Professor John Carey.

His Dark Materials is at the National Theatre until 20 March 2004
