There's an ebb and flow in the Healey household. Depending on the balance of male to female occupants the hormonal tided veers between Girlhouse and Blokehouse. A full house is evenly balanced, consisting of Tim, Jo, daughter Susie and son Charlie.

24-year-old Susie has just returned home, post-university. With her comes girl chat and girl magazines and an awful lot of shoes. There are some disadvantages, mostly to do with the bathroom, but Jo enjoys this shift away from total Blokehouse.

But this autumn Charlie goes off to university and the needle is poised to swing back into Girlhouse. Can Tim cope with the prospect of female chatter through Match of the Day?
