Dorothy Metcalfe, known to the community as Dot, has been driving her mobile library around Nidderdale in North Yorkshire for 34 years. Two regular borrowers are neighbours Mrs Pitt and Mrs Watson, who rely on Dot to bring them fresh reading material, any news, and the latest gossip from the surrounding villages. |
