Maureen Tolfree was a surrogate mum to her 3 younger brothers, even after she married and had 3 of her own. One of her brothers, Brian Peters, emigrated to Australia at 18 and made a name for himself as a news photographer. In 1975 Brian went out to East Timor for a weeks reconnaisance for Channel 9...he never returned.
Maureen was never given a straight answer by the Australian or British press on what happened to Brian and his team. She became so distraught that no-one knew where his body was that her hair fell out - but still no-one stepped up to help...
