John Close who had always lead an active life, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease shortly after he turned 50. When the suffering became too much to bear he told his sister Leslie that he wanted to take his own life. But how? Then they heard about  the "assisted suicide group" Dignitas in Switzerland.

John knew that when the time came, this is what he wanted to do...
