It all started innocently enough for Tony Brown on a day trip to Brittany. While keeping himself amused during the long wait for a ferry - he noticed the earth smelt differently (of beetroots) and then was struck with the bright idea of taking a sample of this pungent French soil home.
Well, word got out of his bizarre actions...and now through no effort, or fault, of his own...soil samples from 'round the world arrive on his doorstep!
