Over the next two months 14 of Britain’s top chefs will be working to produce the perfect four-course meal as part of a new ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ series Great British Menu.Ìý The stakes are high because the final dishes will be chosen by public vote, and served at a special lunch to be held at the Mansion House on 15 June to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s 80th birthday.Ìý

Martha is joined by Angela Hartnett chef at London's Connaught Hotel, and food writer Sybil Kapoor to discuss what defines British cooking and what makes it great.Ìý
