Ìý Snow Foods: Friulian Winter Salad 01ÌýMar 2006 Ìý
It may be getting a little lighter in the mornings, but we are, judging by the temperature, still in mid-winter. So you might want to take culinary inspiration from a series of warming foods for cold weather. The cookery writer, Diana Henry has spent the last five years travelling around some of the chillier parts of Europe and North America and the resulting book is called "Roast Figs and Sugar Snow".

Today she introduces Anna McNamee to an unusual, hearty salad from Italy.ÌýÌý
