Fashion
A personal stylist for your wardrobe 27 Jun 2006
It was 1983 when the first image consultancy was established in the UK , giving advice and training. For a long time the sector was quite small, but in the last few years that has all changed - there are now thousands of stylists working in this country, and 6 major training centres where you can qualify as a Master Federation Image Consultant. Professional help could cost you as much as £1000 or as little as £35 per hour. To investigate this growing trend, our reporter Kate Taylor decided to have her own clothes ruthlessly analysed by style consultant Natasha Gavin, who got the process started by sorting through Kate's wardrobe.
