Elizabeth Cook
Is she this generation’s Loretta Lynn?

Imagine this in a country twang: Sometimes looks can be deceivin’, when you’re quietly overachievin’. They're wordsfrom the song Sometimes it Takes Balls to be a Woman – and it’s become something of asignature piecefor the woman who’s been called “this generation’s Loretta Lynn”. Her name’s Elizabeth Cook and she joins Jane to describe her extraordinary childhood, to talk about her latest album “Balls”, and to sing live with her husband, Tim Carroll.

Elizabeth Cook will be supporting Suzy Bogguss on Jan 26 in Newcastle; Jan 27 in Sheffield; Jan 28 in London; and Jan 29 in Glasgow.
