In CS Lewis's classic children's book "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" there is a scene where the boy, Edmund is trapped and then enslaved by the evil Witch. Edmund's undoing is a plate of magic Turkish delight that he gorges himself silly on before betraying his brother and two sisters.
