This Sunday is Twelfth Night, when the festivities are finally - formally - over.
The last of the turkey has hopefully been squeezed into the last stew or sandwich, the Christmas cake has been devoured at last - and there's only one thing left - taking down the tree. Jo Bunting has learned from bitter experience that it is an annual event that needs planning with military precision.
