There's no girl cooler at the moment than a Liver bird...that's the verdict of Tatler's new fashion editor Isabella Blow.

This pronouncement comes in the wake of a year which has seen several high profile women all hailing from Merseyside hitting the headlines. Cherie Blair, Ann Robinson, Edwina Currie - all had their fair share of column inches in 2002 - and Atomic Kitten are keeping the side up in 2003.
So what qualities do we associate with Liverpool women, and what stereotypes do they find most frustrating - novelist Linda Grant and historian Pat Ayers join Jenni to discuss how their identity was forged by the city they love best.
Linda Grant, 'Still Here', Paperback - 375 pgs. Published 30 May 2002 by Little, Brown;ISBN: 0316859931
