As part of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s campaign on domestic violence Jenni and guests will be asking what can be done to counter the views of young people and whether the law should be changed to make domestic violence a priority.
Anna Jakukiak, a survivor of domestic violence and mother of 5, Audrey Mullender, Professor of Social Work at Warwick University, Kevin Brazant, former Peer Educator on the Young Workers programme in Hackney and Tina Fitzgibbon from the Campaign for Real Education discuss how to change the views of young people towards domestic violence.
Woman's Hour visited Govan High School in Glasgow where they run workshops on domestic violence. They spoke to youth worker Alan Dick and young people aged 13-15: Helene, Leanne, Amanda, Tracy, Emma, Natasha, Ryan, Gerry and Nicola.
Anna Jakukiak, Robyn Holder, Victim of Crime Co-ordinator in Canberra, Australia, Jill Radford, Professor of Criminology at the University of Teeside and Funmi Okubaja, Senior Crown Prosecutor in Hammersmith join Jenni to discuss the law and domestic violence.
