Today the Fawcett Society publishes a report written by a commission looking into women and the criminal justice system.
It finds that women whether victims, offenders or workers receive rough justice from a 'man-made system'.
Jenni speaks to Vera Baird QC, who chaired the commission and to Paul Goggins, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Office Minister with responsibility for prisons and probations to find out whether, as the report suggests, women are shoe-horned into a male system, from high court judges to perpetrators like shoplifters.
