Stick ‘em up!

Our new poster.Take a look at our brand new Island Blogging poster. Lovely, isn’t it? It features a photo from the blog.

I’ll be sending these out to various places over the next week or so, so you’ll hopefully see some in your area. If you know somewhere which would aesthetically improved by one of the posters - shop/hall/post office/staffroom/community centre etc. - get in touch!

Email me at islandblogging@bbc.co.uk with your address details and I’ll send one out to you.

We also have postcards of the same design - let me know if you can find a good home for them.

It's very pretty, but it will take more than that to hook people in. Quite a lot of the original posters are still up, in this neck of the woods. It would be good to have the 'idiot's guide' re-written for those of us who are not computer literate. It certainly didn't get me going. Technical Help from the deep sooth did that.

Okdoke FC, I'll look into that.

FC's "Idiot Guide" is brilliant! I spent four years as a computer programmer - and I had to send you HOW many emails begging for help? hehehehe Someone mentioned this same thing and I'd like to chime in too: Can you give us a "report" on how Island Blogging is going? Is it working out the way the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ hoped it would? Is it going to stick around for a while? Is the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Island Blogging helping the islands in any way?? I think it's a great thing! But then again I'm an enthusiastic incomer so that's no surprise. As they say here in Orkney, hoo's hid gaan wi the Island Blogging? *grin* Cheerio!!
