ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Young Composer Competition 2025

Before submitting your entry, please make sure you read the competition Rules and Privacy Notice. The closing date for entries is 4pm on Thursday 25th September 2025. If you’re aged 12-16, a parent, a guardian or a teacher (aged 18 or over) must enter on your behalf and provide consent and agreement to these Rules.  

Please ensure that you leave plenty of time to complete the entry form and upload process. Any entries received after the closing time and date will not be entered in the competition.

Our aim is to be as inclusive as possible – please inform us of anything which many require reasonable adjustments to enable you to enter ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Young Composer 2025. This could include any disability or access requirements and anything you can think might get in the way of you feeling confident enough to apply. Should you make it through to shortlisting, we will be contacting you about this again. 

Note for entrants in the Senior Category (17-18): should you be shortlisted to go through to Stage 2, you may be required to provide proof of parent/guardian consent. If you have any questions relating to consent, please get in touch with us at young.composer@bbc.co.uk
