ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 3 returns to this year's Belfast International Arts Festival to shine a spotlight on pianist Charles Owen, described by Gramophone Magazine as “One of the finest British pianists of his generation.â€

Charles Owen will bring two programmes to St Mark's Church, Dundela, first showcasing his skill as a soloist and then as a collaborator, performing duo repertoire with his long-time friend Katya Apekisheva – one of Europe’s most renowned and gifted pianists.

The concert on Monday 20 October is dedicated to Charles. His colourful programme is:

And on Tuesday 21 October Charles will be joined by Katya Apekisheva for a programme displaying the full, sonorous breadth of the piano. The second half of this programme will be dedicated to piano duets, sure to excite and inspire:

Tickets will be allocated by first come first served.

You can apply for up to four tickets per recording, and you’re welcome to apply for ²ú´Ç³Ù³óÌý°ù±ð³¦´Ç°ù»å¾±²Ô²µ²õ. Please note that tickets are not guaranteed. You may be successful for one or both of the recordings.

How to be in the audience

Step 1: Apply for tickets

Tickets for this show are being allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so when we receive your ticket request your details are added to the list of applicants. Tickets are usually dispatched from approximately three weeks ahead of the recording date.

Step 2: Receive a message

All eligible requests are allocated tickets in the order they are received, up to the maximum number of available tickets. If successful, we notify you by text message and send your e-ticket(s) to your email address. If unsuccessful you will be kept on the waiting list in case anyone cancels their tickets.

Step 3: Bring your tickets and ID

We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people. Remember that every guest must bring original approved photo ID.
