ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Singers: O Antiphons with Sofi Jeannin

Recorded for the ·¡µþ±«â€™s annual Christmas Around Europe, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Singers, chief conductor Sofi Jeannin and organist Ashley Grote present a sequence based around the O Anthiphons.

The O Antiphons form part of the Vespers service in the Christian season of Advent, and each text is used on a specific date from 17 to 23 December each year. In this sequence, Ashley Grote plays organ settings based on each antiphon by Cecilia McDowall, while the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Singers perform settings by seven women composers.

The concert opens with the Advent ‘O’ Carol by Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, which draws on the texts of all the O Antiphons.

How to be in the audience

Step 1: Apply for tickets

Tickets for this show are being allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so when we receive your ticket request your details are added to the list of applicants. Tickets are usually dispatched from approximately three weeks ahead of the recording date.

Step 2: Receive a message

All eligible requests are allocated tickets in the order they are received, up to the maximum number of available tickets. If successful, we notify you by text message andÌýsendÌýyour e-ticket(s) to your email address. If unsuccessful you will be kept on the waiting list in case anyone cancels their tickets.

Step 3: Bring your tickets and ID

We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people. Remember that every guest must bring original approved photo ID.
