Directions to Peter Harrison Planetarium
For guests arriving and departing on foot or public transport - St Mary’s Gate postcode – SE10 9JL
Guests can walk through the park to the Astronomy Centre, Royal Observatory via St Marys Gate. Please be aware that there are no public transport links within Greenwich Park itself, but plenty to reach Greenwich Town Centre. Please note that guests cannot depart from Greenwich Park on foot after 8pm due to safety reasons.
Guests arriving by car or taxi – Blackheath gate postcode – SE10 8QY
For guests arriving and exiting by car or taxi, please go to the Blackheath Gate and drive through the park The Peter Harrison Planetarium is on your left-hand side. Please be aware that this is the only park gate which will be open for vehicles upon arrival. Please also be aware that the car park is pay and display throughout the day and is operated by an external company. The park closes at 8pm, and if guests leave their cars in the park after this time, they will not be able to access them until 7am the next morning.
By train
The nearest rail stations are GreenwichÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýMaze Hill. Direct trains run to these stations from London Cannon Street and London Bridge.Ìý
If you are using the London Underground, the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) will take you straight to Greenwich Station (Cutty Sark DLR is currently closed) The DLR connects with other Underground lines at Bank, Tower Gateway and Stratford stations.
By bus
The following buses stop near the Royal Observatory Greenwich and Peter Harrison Planetarium: 53, 54, 202 and 380.
Upon arrival
Please make your way to the Astronomy Centre where a member of the museum staff will direct you to the recording.
