Director Siddharth Anand has been given permission to shoot at the Rockfeller Centre's Christmas tree in New York for his film, Anjaana Anjaani.

Film shooting around this area is forbidden but producer Sajid Nadiawala managed to make this happen with Sylvester Stallone’s help. Fans will remember that Stallone appeared in Nadiawala's movie, Kambakkt Ishq earlier this year alongside Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor.

Lead stars Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are already excited about this particular film shoot.

Director Anand is hoping for snow in New York at the time of the shooting as this is crucial for the film’s storyline. The New York snow will form the backdrop for the scene showing Ranbir and Priyanka walking the streets of New York Christmas shopping.

Anand's creativity has already been seen in releases like Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008), Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007) and Salaam Namaste (2005). He is now hoping to strike a chord with audiences by being innovative in Anjaana Anjaani. So here’s hoping for a white Christmas for director Anand and the stars!
