Police
officer Anant Srivastav (Amitabh Bachchan) has been assigned the
job of escorting the world's most dangerous terrorist, Iqbal Ansari
(Ajay Devgan) from Chandargadh to Mumbai.

An
earlier mission failed miserably due to an ambush halfway to Mumbai.
Fortunately
Ansari was not allowed to escape due to the efforts of the brave
police officers.
Now
another team is being sent to carry out the same mission under the
watchful eye of Anant Srivastav.
To
carry out his mission, Anant is aided by two armed cops - Inspectors
Shekhar Sachdev (Akshay Kumar) and Ashwini Gupte (Tusshar Kapoor).
Shekhar
is a street smart character rotten to the core.
An
unscrupulous officer who does not care what is right or wrong, Shekhar
did not want to be part of this mission. He was forced into it.

Ashwin
on the other hand is a young middle class guy on his first serious
assignment.
Full
of ambitions and good intentions, little does he realise that they
are all about to be shattered.
As
their journey progresses towards Mumbai, Ashwin learns the hard
way, that there is a big difference between training school and
real life police force.
All
three of these characters accompany Iqbal Ansari who is an important
key witness to a case.
But
there is someone out there who will not let them reach their final
destination. . .
The
unseen enemy who lurks in the shadows is always a step aheadÂ…
So will these Khakee clad men be successful in their venture? Watch
Khakee when it releases.
For
Amitabh Bachchan, Khakee comes at a time when he is still
celebrating the box office success of Baghban.

We
now eagerly wait to see the same acting calibre once again in this
police orientated action flick.
Ajay
Devgan has played the loyal police officer in recent releases Gangaajal
and Zameen. But in Khakee, we will see him in a very
different role.
Palying
the role of a police officer is nothing new for Akshay Kumar. The
difference here is that he will be sharing the screen presence with
Bollywood queen Aishwarya Rai.
Tusshar
finally gets a chance to get away from those love orientated flicks.
He gets a chance to play cop for the first time on screen.
Like
most of his films, director Raj Kumar Santoshi's has been filmed
on a large budget with no expenses spared.
It
is slated for a 26th December 2003 release by EROS International
in the UK.
Previewed
by Manish Gajjar, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Shropshire's Mr Bollywood.
