The producers and
distributors of Imtiaz Ali's forthcoming film, Jab We Met are leaving no stone
unturned for the promotion of their film.
Recently, Kareena Kapoor launched
the soundtrack of the film on one of the satellite channels but now Shahid Kapoor
has agreed to feature in a forthcoming episode of Nach Baliye on satellite television. He
will be shaking a leg to the remix of Mauja Hi Mauja. Shahid will also be shooting
for Jhalak Dikhlaja, the popular dance show on one of the Asian satellite channels.
Shooting will take place on 13 October for the episode that will be telecast
worldwide on 19 October 2007.
"This is part of the Jab We Met promotion,Shahid
is a special judge on Jhalak Dikhlaja," confirms director Imtiaz. The
young star is extremely upbeat about his eagerly awaited romantic comedy, which
will release in the UK cinemas on 26 October 2007. So
much so that he's devoted time from his busy shooting schedule to participate
in the pre-release publicity of the film. "It
is true that Shahid is looking forward to the film's release and has kept a lot
of time aside for the promotion of Jab We Met. He is an active participant in
the marketing meetings and has been in touch with everyone associated with the
release of the film to ensure that no stone is left unturned in the publicity,"
