As we approach Easter this programme focuses on the journey that Jesus made to the cross. Gemma hears some children talk about what Easter means to them and share their thoughts on whether it is a sad or happy festival. In the last story of the term we hear about Jesus’ crucifixion which is told from the point of view of a Roman soldier. The soldier is one of those commanded to remain at the foot of the cross during the crucifixion and it reveals the impact that the last hours of Jesus’ life has on him.
