A university education has long been seen as an excellent way to kick-start a successful and rewarding career. But figures released recently by the Office of National Statistics suggest that increasing numbers of graduates are working in non-graduate roles. This together with the prospect of taking on a student debt, is causing some school leavers to think twice before applying for university. An increasingly varied range of apprenticeships is also tempting some to choose a non-graduate route. If you went to university, did it deliver the benefits you expected?
