She has been shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize five times, winning once, and has been a finalist for the Governor General's Award several times, winning twice. First broadcast in 2016, and repeated to complement ѿý Radio 4’s serialisation of The Testaments, which begins on 16th September at 12.04 pm.
