Harland Miller is an artist whose wordplay and dexterous brushwork have won him acclaim. He recalls how past decades have informed his work: The mid 1990s and Harland is back in New York, staying at the Chelsea Hotel. There has been some success with a show called YOU DIG THE TUNNEL - I'LL HIDE THE SOIL. But old anxieties over money and accommodation linger on. And heart-break over a woman called Celeste.
