Art has been central to the Hong Kong protest movement with a new generation of artists creatively responding to curbs on civil and political freedoms since 2014's Umbrella Revolution. However, the introduction of the National Security Law in 2020 gave Beijing far reaching powers to crush any political dissent in Hong Kong and many artists went to ground. Over 18 months, producer Neil McCarthy spends time with two artists, Lumli and Lumlong - husband and wife - as they adapt to increasing political repression in Hong Kong and are forced to make difficult choices about their future.
