Paul Savage

The Murder Files

Available for over a year

Former Detective Steve Wilkins (The Pembrokeshire Murders) re-examines the evidence in an unsolved Welsh murder. On February 4th 2002, postman Paul Savage was beaten to death on his rounds in Mold, Flintshire. Despite police appeals, witnesses statements and forensic evidence, nobody has ever been convicted of the crime. Steve talks to police offers who worked the case twenty years ago, and the police who are still working the case now: why has Paul's murder been so hard to detect? And as the 20th anniversary approaches, what hope is there now that the case will one day be solved?
