Next year will see nearly half of the world’s population going to the polls. Around forty general elections are scheduled to take place next year, in countries including the UK, USA, India, Russia and Pakistan. How might those elections shift the geopolitical tectonic plates - and will we see any resolution to ongoing conflicts.
