Bells on Sunday, comes from St Martin-in-the-Fields in the City of Westminster, London where this year’s Ascension Day Service will feature music and reflections celebrating 100 years of religious broadcasting by the ��ѿ��ý. St Martin’s has twelve bells cast by the Whitechapel of London foundry in 1988 replacing an 18th century ring of bells that were gifted to Perth in Western Australia as part of the Australian Bicentenary celebrations. The tenor bell weighs twenty nine and a quarter hundredweight and is tuned to the key of D. We hear them ringing ‘Stedman Cinques’.
