But did you know that Wales has its own rich traditions around Halloween and harvest with similar themes of remembrance and thanks? ‘Nos Calan Gaeaf’ - sometimes described as the ‘Welsh Halloween’ denotes a special spirit night where it was believed that those that have ‘passed’ are able to step back into the living world. It's a time for seeking answers and guidance from our ancestors - for ‘divination’ and fortune telling rituals.
