(13/17) The quest for the 2024 Brain of Britain champion enters the semi-final stage, with Russell Davies chairing the contest from London's Radio Theatre. Contestants who've come unscathed through the heats now play off in the first of the contests that will decide who goes through to the Final. Taking their places in the first semi-final are: Paula Dempsey from south-east London David Edwards from Denstone in Staffordshire Andrew Fanko from Market Harborough Heather Smith from Chichester. There will also be a chance for a Brain of Britain listener to outwit the Brains with questions of their own, and win a prize if they succeed.
