Adam Walton reflects on this year's UK Space Conference in Manchester. The conference is a biannual event organised by the UK Space Agency and aims to raise awareness of the country’s growing space sector. Chief Executive Officer of the UK Space Agency, Dr Paul Bate, provides the lowdown on the event itself. We talk to three trainee astronauts from the European Space Agency Astronaut Reserve, Dr Rosemary Coogan, Dr John McFall, and Dr Meganne Christian. Dr Rosie Cane from Space Wales stops by to tell us about the country's growing space sector. We find out all about the Snowdonia Space Centre from Technical Director, Jeremy Howitt. Joshua Western, the CEO and Co-Founder of Space Forge, discusses Forge Star One, a satellite built and developed in Wales.
