AFRODEUTSCHE opens up on the topic of having a private life whilst in the public eye

Grounding

Expires on Sunday 12:00am

Grounding is a series which celebrates the unique perspectives and creativity of neurodivergent artists. Across the series they explore how neurodiversity shapes their relationship with music and highlight the songs that hold personal significance. Musician, producer, and composer AFRODEUTSCHE reflects on autism and synesthesia in her private life, exploring the quieter, more personal moments that shape her world. She shares how her autism and synesthesia helped her understand why she values her own company, space, and music, learning that solitude is how she recharges and navigates life. Through personal stories and a selection of music she has kept private until now, AFRODEUTSCHE offers an intimate glimpse of her private life beyond her role as a musician, producer, or radio host. Expect music from The Prince of Egypt soundtrack, and Grace Jones, finishing with a 20 minute mix to close the show. Produced by Granny Eats Wolf, working with The Donaldson Trust, The National Body for Neurodiversity.
