An afternoon of compelling performances including highlights from summer chamber music concerts across Bavaria and there is a spotlight on orchestral works with solo viola. Introduced by Elizabeth Alker. Throughout the week, Classical Live is featuring specially recorded concerts from various Bavarian summer music festivals. Today, we will hear Dvořák's String Quartet No. 12 in F from Ingolstadt, and an exceptional ensemble of international soloists perform Schumann's Piano Quartet in E flat from Chamber Music Festival Vielsaitig. Plus, each day, an orchestral work with solo viola will be showcased. Today, two star soloist violinist Elena Urioste and violist Timothy Ridout will join forces with the ��ѿ��ý Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Jack Sheen to perform Mozart's expressive and virtuosic Sinfonia Concertante.
